Wasted lips, haggard pale face
Dark eyes with those long lashes
That sweep her cheeks when she blinks
Tired to bone, addicted to weed
Ragged old clothes and coveting cashes
To wipe the tears so she blinks
Is it phantom, or for real?
The light of paradise above that flashes
But all disappears when she blinks
Life and love, oh forgotten things!
For her addiction down they crashed
To erase those memories so she blinked.
